Cofresi is a natural paradise to the west of Puerto Plata, 30km from General Gregorio Luperón Airport and adjoining Ocean World, one of the world's largest water parks. Surrounded by mountains and a fabulous beach of fine sand, this town has a good transport system that has prompted an ever-growing tourist boom.
